George Edward Malm Jr., 75, of Tenney Brook Road, died suddenly on June 13, 2014 at his home.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on March 3, 1939, George was the son of George Edward Sr. and Evelyn (Fields) Malm.
George grew up in Warwick, RI. and he graduated from Veterans High School, in Warwick. He graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelors degree and also from Providence College, with a Masters degree in History. He resided in Warwick for many years and has been a resident of Plymouth since 2006.
George taught school for thirty years, for the city of Cranston, RI, at Hugh Bain Jurior High School.
George was a US Air Force Veteran and had proudly served for four years.
George communicant of St. Matthews Church, Holy Trinity Parish, in Plymouth and was a member of the Warwick, RI, Knights of Columbus.
George was predeceased by his daughter Pamela A. Silva, who died in March of this year, a brother, Frank Malm and a sister, Barbara Castro.
George is survived by his wife of fifty years, Jean. (Milano) Malm of Plymouth, sons, Gregory J. Malm and his wife Jackie, of Warwick, Kevin M. Malm and his wife Ellen, of Plymouth, daughter, Christine M. Malm of Warwick, RI, four grandchildren, Alex, Samatha, Kelsey, and Patrick, brothers, Robert Malm and his wife Marjorie, of Florida, Wayne Malm and his wife Dorothy, of Rhode Island, several nieces and nephews.
