George F. Dudzik, 94, of Perth Amboy, NJ, and Moultonborough, NH, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Lakes Region General Hospital, in Laconia, after a period of declining health.
Born in Dupont, PA, on March 26, 1919, he was the son of Ferdinand and Honorata (Babula) Dudzik. He was raised in Perth Amboy, NJ, attending local schools. Upon his 18th birthday George enlisted with the U.S. Navy and fought with honor and courage in WWII and reenlisted for the Korean Conflict.
He is predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Martha (Sosinowich) Dudzik, in 1994, and five siblings.
He is survived by his daughter, Gail Pocsik and husband James, of E. Brunswick, NJ; two granddaughters, Veronica Pocsik-Hupper and husband Ryan, of Center Barnstead, NH, Jessica Feeney and husband Joshua, of Fords, NJ; three great-grandchildren, Mary and Rose Hupper, and Jaleeya Feeney.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral Services will be held in New Jersey and will be private.
