Center Harbor, NH - George Wiltse Davy, 86 of Center Harbor, NH formerly of Rochester, NY passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2016. He was born in Rochester, NY, son of the late George F. and Alberta (Wiltse) Davy.
George proudly served his Country as a Sgt. Medic - Paratrooper in the U.S. Army's 187th Airborne R.C.T. "Rakkasans" during the Korean War. He later worked as a Lineman for the Rochester Telephone Company. George was an avid outdoorsman who would always enjoyed talking to his neighbors as they passed by his home, while he was out chopping and stacking wood. He always went out of his way to stop and chat to thank other Veteran's he would see. George enjoyed going to the Center Harbor Diner, playing cards, and was a lover of animals.
Beloved husband of the late Betsy (Fay) Davy, He was also survived by four children, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister.
