Franklin Delano White, Sr., 79, of Plymouth, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 after a brief illness.
Born in Lincoln, NH, on May 20, 1934 he was the son of John and Lucretia (Pollard) White. Frank was raised in Ashland, NH. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in Germany and Korea, earning two Bronze Stars for his service.
Frank worked for I.P.C., Corp., in Bristol for 19 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved spending time with his family. Frank enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing horseshoes; he will be dearly missed by those whose lives he has touched throughout the years.
Frank is predeceased by his son, James White, in 1962, and 11 siblings.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Flora (Jones) White, of Plymouth; five children, Franklin D. White, Jr., and fiancée Shannon Smith, of New Hampton, John A. White and wife Crickett, of Bristol, Josephine Boyce and husband George, of Plymouth, Flora Boyce and husband Butch, of Thornton, Lawrence D. White and wife Kelley, of Alexandria; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Fournier, of Somersworth, Mary Guertin, of Lebanon; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
