Frances Harty, 74, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, July 26, 2009.Born on November 15, 1934, in Plymouth, NH, she was the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Brown) Ouellet. Frances was raised in Campton in her family's home on B.B. River; she graduated from Plymouth High School. After graduating high school she attended the University of Pennsylvania Nursing School and later she became a Certified Dental Assistant. For twenty plus years she worked as a Dental Assistant at the practice of Joseph Gage DDS, on Union Street in Laconia.In 1977 she married William Harty and together they moved to Maryland and resided in the Annapolis area, they retired to Plymouth, NH in 1999.Frances spent many summers at her summer camp on Spindle Point, Lake Winnipesauke; she enjoyed spending time there with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and was well known at the local libraries, crossword puzzles were a passion of hers. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 30 years, William Harty, in 2007, formerly of Plymouth, and a step-son, Stephen Harty in 2006.Frances is survived by her sister, Jean Ray, of Dorchester; two nieces, Jacquelyn Cushing, of Holderness, and Paula D'Marco, of Bridgewater; three step-daughters, Alice Harty Donovan, of Bradford, MA, Attorney Jocelyn Harty Campbell, of Reading, MA, and Sara Harty Pryzbylek, of Shrewsbury, MA; two step-sons, Kevin Harty, of Merrimack, NH and Shawn Harty, of Lowell, MA; eleven step-grandchildren, three grandnieces and two grandnephews. Memorials:In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frances's name to the NH Humane Society, Laconia.Visitation:Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon Street, Plymouth, from 10 thru 12 pm. Cemetery:Interment will be at a later date and will be private.
