Florence M. "Tootie" Fligg, 86, formerly of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at the Mountain Ridge Genesis Nursing Home, in Franklin, after a brief illness.Born on February 20, 1923, in Ashland, NH, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Albina (Dupuis) Dicey. She grew up in Ashland, graduating from Ashland High School.Tootie had a love for knitting and cake decorating. She enjoyed taking long rides through the White Mountains to take in the beautiful scenery. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and was well known for her uncanny sense of wit and good humor. She also loved her dear friend "Libby" the cat.Tootie is predeceased by her brother, Charles Dicey, and sister, Laura Brown.She is survived by her husband, Alan B. Fligg, of Danbury; a son, Dana Fligg and his wife Karen, of Ashland; and niece, Stacie Laavwe, also of Ashland; good friends, Barbara and Ralph Larraby, of Alabama; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Service:Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth, from 10:00 am thru 12:00 pm, with a Funeral Service immediately following in the Funeral Home at 12:00 pm. The Rev. Everett Palmer, pastor of the Ashland Baptist Church, will officiate.Cemetery:Interment will follow the service at Green Grove Cemetery, in Ashland.
