Florence Sue Daigle, 70, of School St. in Rumney, died December 27, 2016, at her home after a long illness.
Born in Plymouth, NH on August 29, 1946, she was the daughter of Raymond Otto and Geraldine Grace (Houghton) Patterson.
Florence grew up in the Plymouth and Rumney area. She graduated from Plymouth High School and she was a Varsity Cheerleader. She has been a resident of Rumney for most all her life.
Florence worked for various companies throughout her life including; as a young Patterson Gas Company, Speare Memorial Hospital, NH Electric Cooperative, Rumney Village Store, the former Ames, and Ryzaks.
Florence enjoyed karaoke singing, riding her motorcycle and snowmobile, shooting, swimming, camping, going to church, horses, and being a majorette for the former Royal Eagles.
Florence is survived by her husband Albert J. Daigle of Rumney, her children, Catherine A. White and her husband William of Londonderry, NH. Kenneth Tear and his partner Walter Curley of New York, David D. Daigle and his significant other Miranda, Duane D. Daigle and his wife Jamie of Rumney, grandchildren, Jeremy Daigle, Billy White, Nicholas White, Hannah Daigle, Caleb Daigle, and Noah Daigle, brothers, Raymond Patterson of Rumney, Roger Patterson of Arkansas, sister, Charlotte Mae Mottram of Connecticut, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her great grandson, Donald G. Daigle.
Calling hours will in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St. Plymouth, on Saturday, Dec. 31st, from 1pm to 2:30pm. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 2:30pm. The Rev. John Fisher, pastor of the Union Congregational Church, in Hebron, will officiate. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
