Florence Ann Comstock, 87, of Redding Lane, died August 27, 2015 at her home, after a long illness.
Born in Manchester, NH on April 26, 1928, she was the daughter of William E. and Dorothy (Ormsbee) Jolin.
Florence grew up in Manchester and graduated from Manchester's Central High School, class of 1946. She resided in Goffstown for many years and had summered in Moultonborough since 1955. Florence moved here permanently in 1969. She also wintered in Vero Beach, FL. for many years.
Florence worked, in her early years, for the New England Telephone Company in the Manchester, Portsmouth and Dover offices, all before becoming a homemaker.
Florence was an avid volunteer and did so in the communities where she lived. She was especially proud of volunteering over eight years at Golden View Health Care Center, in Meredith. She loved to spend time with her family, knit and make ceramics.
Florence is survived by her husband of sixty years, Richard D. Comstock Sr, her daughter, Kelli A. Lively, son Richard D. Comstock, JR, all of Moultonborough, sons, W. Scott Comstock of Laconia, Todd T. Comstock of Concord, six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
