Florence May Blanchette, 79, of Meredith, formerly of Campton, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Golden View Health Care Center in Meredith, after a lenghty illness.Flroence was born on January 3, 1931, in Campton, NH, the daughter of Frank and Florence (Willoughby) Nelson. She was raised in Campton and attended Campton and Plymouth schools.For many years Florence was an employee for the State of New Hampshire, performing her duties as a Psychiatric Aide. Florence was a member of T.O.P.S., of Plymouth for many years; she loved to play cards, and very much enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 42 years, James A. Blanchette.Florence is survived by her loving children, Julie A. Gagne, of Manchester, and James Blanchette, of Meredith; a brother, Charlie Nelson, of Campton; two sisters, Mary Latuch, of Auburn, NH, and Pat Courrier, of Holderness; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.Service:A private graveside service was held at Blair Cemetery, Campton, on Sunday, July 25, 2010.
