Evelyn Lucille Ray, 87, of Rumney, died October 27, 2019 at Speare Memorial Hospital, Plymouth, after a period of declining health.
Born in Plymouth, NH, on September 16, 1932, she was the only daughter of Oceola and Florence (Goodwin) Dunklee. She graduated from Plymouth High School and has been a resident of Rumney since 1953.
Evelyn and her husband ran business together in the Rumney area for many years and worked for a time at Plymouth Stitching, in Ashland
Evelyn was very active in the Baker River Grange, which she belonged to for 74 years, and held multiple offices
Evelyn was predeceased by three of her children, Margaret Muzzey, Michael Ray and Richard Ray.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of 68 years, Timothy A. Ray of Rumney, her children, Ramona Mack and Rachel Miller of Campton, Matthew Ray of Rumney, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in the Spring in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Rumney.
