CENTER HARBOR---Evelyn C. McAuliffe died Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Concord, NH. She was the devoted wife and best friend of Dennis J. McAuliffe for over 33 years.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her beloved son, Gordon A. Morlan Jr., her four cherished grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Katherine and Benjamin, a great granddaughter Alexandria, her devoted "Big Sister" Priscilla Waidley, brother Terry, his wife Carolyn, nephews Matthew and Stephen and great nephews Grayson and Weston and a great niece Madelyn Rose. She is also survived by her much-loved Father in-law, Sisters and Brothers in-law, two nephews, two nieces, three great nephews and a great niece. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Katheryn and Ervin Waidley, and her brother David.
Evelyn was a Commodity Grader for the USDA until retirement and over the past 25 years a Realtor with Harsch Real Estate in Bennington, VT as well as a Senior Tax Advisor for H & R Block in their Bennington, VT and Plymouth, NH offices. Evelyn also volunteered for 22 years as an EMT for the Pownal, VT Rescue Squad; serving as the Assistant Chief for many years. Her most recent endeavor was serving on the Center Harbor Zoning Board.
Calling hour will be held on Friday November 24, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Following the calling hour, a funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo, 300 NH Rte-25 Meredith, NH, burial will immediately follow at Center Harbor Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Evelyn's name to St. Jude Hospital Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
