Evangeline Ellen Holmes

Evangeline Ellen Holmes, 88, formerly of Groton, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2012 at Golden View Health Care Center, in Meredith.
Born in Feltzen South, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia on October 26, 1923, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Ellen (Corkum) Zellers.
Evangeline is predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick V. Holmes who passed away in October of 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Sara E. Marquez, of Lowell, MA, son, Robert L. Holmes, of Dorchester, NH, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Yeaton Road, Plymouth, on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00 am. Rev. Chester Kulus, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Independent Baptist Church of Plymouth, or to a charity of one's choice.
