BOSCAWEN---Ethel (Turmelle) Nadeau, 92, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Ethel was born a daughter to Elsie (Lovett) and Wildred Joseph Turmelle on October 10th, 1932 at Plymouth Hospital. She lived most of her life in Tilton, Franklin and Plymouth NH, but spent her winters in Florida.
Ethel belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, post 4438. She loved reading, dancing, and bingo which she was very lucky at. She graduated from Plymouth High-School class of 1950 and went on to work as a nurse’s aide.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Nadeau, their four children, Kathleen Werren of Moultonboro NH, Michelle Beauchemin of TX, Peter Beauchemin of South Berwick ME, and Paul Beauchemin of Plymouth. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her five older siblings.
As per Ethel and her family’s wishes, services will be held privately.
