Ermaleen Stephenson Miller, age 94, passed away peacefully in Plymouth, New Hampshire on November 15, 2021. She was born in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho May 26,1927 to Daniel Preston and Annie Agnes Stephenson. She attended school in Lava Hot Springs and later, after moving to Utah, graduated from Ogden High and Weber State College. She married the love of her life, Durward John Miller, in Clearfield, Utah at the Hill Field Air Force Base chapel on September 8, 1951. They later moved to Manchester, Connecticut where they raised their four children and served in the community.
She retired after 30 yrs. from Bell Telephone and in 1980 moved to Rumney, NH with her husband, son and daughter in law and ran Miller's General Store. While in her sixties she obtained her real estate license, became a broker, and managed an office for NH Colonials. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, craft booking and traveling. In her later years she looked forward to spending the winters in Sarasota, Florida enjoying the sunshine, beach, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Durward; son, Kurt; great granddaughter, Emery; parents and ten brothers and sisters. Survived by her children; Kristine Colledge (Alan) Lindon, UT; Sheila Bergeron (Gerry) Ivins, UT; Durward Miller Jr. (Jill) Plymouth, NH; daughter in law Betty Miller, Rumney, NH; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sat. Dec. 4th, 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 354 Fairgrounds Rd, Plymouth, NH, with 12 noon interment at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Rumney.
