Elisa M. Lawson

Elisa Maria (Capone) Lawson, 97, of Rumney NH, formerly of Watertown MA and Levittown NY, passed away on August 23 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Newton, MA to Emilia and Pasquale Capone on January 7, 1924.

Elisa graduated from Watertown High School. After graduating from Katherine Gibbs School, Elisa worked as an administrative assistant at Liberty Mutual, Division Avenue High School and Plymouth State University.

Elisa was predeceased by her husband, William Lawson. She is survived by her children: William Lawson, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Bow NH, Robert Lawson of Rumney NH, Thomas Lawson of Naples FL and Patricia Lawson and her husband Stephen Downey of Auburn NH; her grandchildren William Lawson III of Destin FL, Katherine Lawson of Auburn AL, and Kuper Jenks-Lawson of Naples FL.
Elisa enjoyed golfing, activities at the Plymouth Senior Center, luncheons with the Ladies of the Lake, and spending time with family and friends at her residence on Stinson Lake.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to Pemi-Baker Community Hospice, Mid State Medical Center, Fred, Helen, and all the caregivers from Live Free Home Health Care and Comfort Keepers for their support over the past few years. The family would also like to thank the Rumney Fire Dept. for their help and assistance.
