Eleanor G. Rasmussen, of Moultonborough, NH, (and formerly of Milton, MA, Edina, MN, and Walden, VT) entered the joy of heaven, in her 101st year, on 29 September 2015.
Born, in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, to Rasmus Christian Panduro Rasmussen and Nicolina (Jensen) Rasmussen, on February 5, 1915, she survived her parents and three siblings: Rev. Paul G Rasmussen and his wife Lily, Clara R. Anderson and her husband Arvid, and Arthur P. Rasmussen and his wife Alice.
Cherished friend, Beloved aunt grand aunt, great grand aunt... She is survived by her niece; Carol Rasmussen Nolen and Lawrence of Norton, Massachusetts, Arthur P. Rasmussen and Denise of Scituate, Massachusetts, and Paul G. Rasmussen and Val of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and numerous grand and great grand niece a and nephews here and in Denmark.
Services will be held at The Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 2238 Parade Road (Route 106), Laconia, NH 03246, on Monday October 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bradlee Wolf will be officiating. Visiting hour will be one hour before the service.
Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury, Massachusetts at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55419, or to The Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 2238 Parade Road, Laconia, NH 03247... Or to a charity of one's choice.
