Edward Frank Woodbury, 73, of East Rumney Road, Rumney, NH, died April 17, 2015, at Speare Memorial Hospital, in Plymouth, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Plymouth on January 3, 1942, he was the son of Clarence and Doris (Branard) Woodbury.
Edward grew up in the Campton and Plymouth area, where he attended schools. He resided in the Plymouth area most all his life, spending the past twenty years residing in Rumney.
Edward worked as a mechanic for several different garages, in the Plymouth area and had also worked as a carpenter, building many houses in the area. He worked, for over thirty years, for the former Rochester Shoe Tree Company, Plymouth, in the maintenance department.
Edward was a US Army veteran. He was a past member of both the Rumney and Plymouth American Legion Posts.
Edward loved to spend time in the outdoors and fishing was a big part of his life.
Edward was predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine (Bragg) Woodbury, who died in January of 1980, a son, Buddy W. Robertson, who died in December of 2014, and a sister, Alvine Rackliffe.
Edward is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Jean L. (Converse) Woodbury of Rumney, son, Edward S. Woodbury and daughter Cheryl Woodbury both of Plymouth, son, Douglas Robertson of Rumney, four grandchildren, Edward S. II, Caleb, Shelby and Emma, four great grandchildren, sister, Clarese Fitch of Huntington, CA, nieces, nephews and cousins.
