Edna May Coffin was born August 21, 1949, in Plymouth NH. She grew up in Grafton County until she settled in Rumney NH in the 1980's. Edna worked at IPC in Bristol NH for many years until she started working for Plymouth State University around 1980, in accounts payable, until she retired in 2011.Edna was the life of the party, always lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She dedicated herself to taking care of her mother Lucy Comeau in Lucy's last year's, so she could live at home. Edna forgave easy, she loved without conditions and forgiveness… loved to make people laugh, even right up to her last days. She had the amazing ability to always come back with something witty.
Edna enjoyed the outdoors, motorcycles, camping and loved hunting and fishing with her husband Richard Coffin. She looked forward to the many weekends spent at York beach Maine and Ryegate VT with her family. She was an amazing ice skater and also a competitive snowmobile racer back in the 70s in the powder puff division, that only had about 4 women racers and she would beat them every time with her 440 Artic Cat Puma! Edna was a Redsox, Patriots and Nascar fan and she loved Dale Earnhardt jr. She loved country music, and especially Elvis Presley gospel songs! Edna always looked forward to trick or treating at the veterans nursing home
