Duane E. Coffin, 53 of Campton passed away at his home on May 4, 2016. He was born in Plymouth on January 13, 1963, son of John Coffin and the late Beverly (Downing) Hanson.
Duane proudly served his country in the NH Army National Guard. Later in life he loved working outdoors, fishing, and building log homes. More recently he loved helping his friend Russell on his farm with the animals and gardening. Duane's new favorite hobby was his chickens and his own garden he would do every year.
Beloved husband of Debra L. (Lewis) Coffin, Loving son of John Coffin, Loving father of Angela Coffin and her three children; Jasmyne and Stephen Coffin and Daisha Abernathy, his step-children, Virginia Willette and her husband Matthew and their daughter Eliza, Debra Morelli and her boyfriend Sean Carey and their children, Travis Morelli and Teegan Baclaan, and Michelle Morelli and her boyfriend Jason Powell. He also leaves behind his close and longtime friend Russell Kennison, his uncle Ricky Gilpatric, his siblings; Lester Gilpatric and his wife Elizabeth and their children; Mateo, Kaila, and Dustin Gilpatric, Matthew Coffin, and Melissa Coffin Runk.
SERVICES: Family and friends will honor and remember Duane's life by gathering for a graveside service with Military Honors in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Route 175, Thornton, NH on Saturday, May 14th at 11:00 AM. The Mayhew Funeral Homes and Meredith Bay Crematorium of Plymouth and Meredith are assisting the family with arrangements.
