Douglas N Dreghorn, 74, of Mayhew Drive, Campton, died July 30, 2015, at the Genesis Elder Care Center, in Laconia, after a period of failing health.
 
 
 Born in Woodsville, NH. on January 19, 1941, he was the son of Samuel and Victoria (Nicol) Dreghorn.
 
 
 Doug grew up in Warren and moved to Plymouth as a young child. He has resided in Plymouth for most all his life and has been a resident of Campton for the past several years. He graduated from Plymouth High School, class of 1958 and also from Bentley College, in Waltham, MA.
 
 
 Doug worked as a salesman for over thirty years for the Sanels Auto Parts Store, in Plymouth, until his retirement in 2003.
 
 
 Doug was a past member of the Plymouth Lodge of Elks #2312, in Holderness, past member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Masonic Lodge, both in Plymouth.
 
 
 Doug was a US Air Force veteran and had served between the years of 1961 to 1965.
 
 
 Doug is predeceased by his wife of forty-eight years, R. Elaine (Merrill) Dreghorn, who died in November of 2010.
 
 Doug is survived by his four children, Lynn A. Dreghorn and her significant other Tim Perkins, of Rumney, Lisa A. Ames and husband Jeff of Wentworth, Brian D. Dreghorn and wife Dawn of Virginia Beach, VA, Lesley A. Salyer, of Laconia, nine grandchildren, Erin, Ashley, Jason, Olivia, Julie, Felicia, Nicholas, Christopher, and Kinsey Rose and four great grandchildren.
