Donna Page Kennedy

Plymouth--It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Donna Page Kennedy, known by
most as “The Queen”, 75, of Plymouth, New Hampshire. Donna passed away after a
short battle with cancer on April 22, 2024, at Goldenview Healthcare Center.

Donna was born September 23, 1948, in Woodsville, NH, to Roy W. Page and Dorothy
(Hastings) Page. She was a proud Engineer graduating from Woodsville High School,
class of 1966. After high school Donna attended Sheldon Academy of Beauty &
Culture, graduating in 1967. This is where she found her lifelong passion for making
people look their best. For many years she worked in local salons in the Woodsville
area.

On September 18, 1971, she married Brian J. Kennedy, also of Woodsville. They
briefly lived in Milford, NH, before planting roots in Meredith, NH, raising their children.
In 1974 Donna became the Hairdresser at the new Goldenview Healthcare Center
where she continued to work until she became ill this past December. Donna loved her
friends at “The View'' and she loved her residents. Donna took 5 years off from
Goldenview to be a stay-at-home mom for her children. During this time, Donna took a
part-time position catering for Hart’s Turkey Farm Restaurant. She loved catering and
meeting people. Donna had the gift of gab. After years of catering Donna also started
hostessing at Hart’s, greeting people with her infectious smile. When Donna’s son
started school, she went back to work at Goldenview, spending 45 years making the
residents look and feel good. While at Goldenview, Donna was also known to help at
Mayhew Funeral Home with hairstyling needs. Donna’s work ethic was undeniable.
She was a dedicated and hard worker.

When Donna wasn’t working she enjoyed being by her pool, soaking up the sun, and
taking mid-winter Caribbean cruises with her love, Brian. Donna loved socializing and
being around her friends and family. She was the life of the party.

Donna leaves behind her daughter, Krystal Kennedy, and her son, Sean Kennedy.
Donna loved being a mother, but most of all she loved being a Grammy. She leaves
behind four beautiful granddaughters: Jacklyn and Faith Francis, and Stella and
Penelope Kennedy. Donna also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Donna is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Brian J. Kennedy, her parents,
Deke and Dot Page, and sisters Priscilla Blood and Shirley Cobb.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff at
Goldenview Healthcare Center in Meredith for taking such good care of “The Queen”.

Donna will be laid to rest with her love, Brian, on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1:00 pm at The
New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen,
NH 03303.

We all know that Donna and Brian loved a good party, we will celebrate their lives after
the burial at Hart’s Turkey Farm Restaurant in Meredith, 3:00-6:00 pm. Words cannot
describe how much we will miss them. They lit up every room with their sunny smiles
and always knew how to make people laugh.
