David Arthur Greene, 62, of Bow, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, NH on July 15, 1950, he was the son of Raymond and Rebecca (Haynes) Greene. He was raised in the Hooksett-Farmington area before moving to Ashland with his family in 1965, he graduated from the Ashland High School. David furthered his education at the Concord Vocational Technical School where he trained and became a certified Automotive Mechanic.
David worked for many years at his father's Mobil Station in Ashland, he also drove log trucks, and trucks for several area construction companies throughout his driving career. David built and drove his own race cars; he raced on the dirt track in Loudon, and race tracks in Rumney and Canaan. He resided in the Ashland-Plymouth area for most of his life before moving to Bow to live with his son and daughter-in-law.
David is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Rebecca Greene, and his daughter-in-law, Helen (Ellie) Greene.
He is survived by his son, Jason Greene, of Bow; two daughters, Heidi Gallicchio and husband Chris, of Plymouth, Heather Stewart, of Andover, NH; twin sister, Diann Greene, of Laconia; two sisters, Debora Miller and husband Dennis, of Sugar Land, TX, Jo Ann Paul and husband Jack, of Holderness; brother, Steven Greene and wife Jane, of Enfield; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or donations the family requests that in David's memory one should give a convalescent home, family member, friend or a shut-in a visit.
