RUMNEY---David (Dave) Jon Dunkling, (54) passed away suddenly in Rumney, NH on February 21, 2017.
David was born on May 8, 1962 in Plymouth, NH the son of Richard and Elizabeth (Betty Volpe) Dunkling.
David went to school in the Rumney/Plymouth Area. After David graduated from high school he moved out to Colorado for several years. He later returned to his child hood home, he remained in the area doing construction work right up to his passing.
David loved his cats; Tigre, Sobe, Zarty, and Puma who just recently passed away. David was an avid snowmobiler and has his own snowmobile racing team. During the summer, he enjoyed spending time at the Rumney swimming hole, a place he became very fond of as he was growing up. David loved quiet happy times with his family as well as watching the races on TV.
David is survived by his mother; Elizabeth of Laconia, his sister; Deborah (Hoefs) Paige and her husband Walter of Raymond, NH, his nephews and niece; Richard Hoefs of Derry, NH, Kristina Hoefs of Portland, ME, and Benjamin Hoefs of Deering, NH. and his special lifelong friend and partner Joanne. As well as many aunts and uncles, cousins and 2 great nieces, two additional half siblings; Mary-Lou Barrell of Quiche, VT and Paul Dunkling of Sharron, VT.
