Daniel Morrison Keniston (Danny), 78, most recently of Campton, NH passed away Sunday, May 1st, 2022, aged 78.
Born on July 2nd, 1943, in Plymouth NH., he was the son of Fred and Marjorie (Keniston) Plaisted.
Danny was a logger by trade, starting at age 16 with a team of horses. He was a longtime member and former president of the American Loggers Council, and one of the first members of the NH Timberland Owners' Association.
Danny won many awards including NH logger of the year in 1980, the American Loggers Council president's award, and the NH Timber Harvesting Council outstanding member, both in 2010.
Danny served in the Army 577th Engineers from 1964-1967 including a tour of Vietnam.
Danny is survived by his wife Pat, children, Timothy, Tammy, Edward, and Theron, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Danny was predeceased by his parents and his sister Elizabeth K. Carter.
Calling hours will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth, on Thursday May 12th from 6pm to 8pm. A Graveside services will be held in the Blair Cemetery, Campton NH., on Friday, May 13th, at 10 am. The Rev. Christopher Drew will officiate.
