Daniel John Enis, 72, of Saw Mill Road, Moultonborough, died April 25, 2017, at his home, after a battle with lung cancer.
Born in Lowell Massachusetts on July 27, 1944, he was the son of Daniel and Mabel (Guerin) Enis.
Dan grew up in Lowell, MA, and attended Lowell Schools. He resided in Westford, MA for many years and resided in Meredith, NH. for over thirty years. He has been a resident of Moultonboro for the past couple of years.
Dan has worked in the Dry Wall and Sheet Rock Industry since he was seventeen. He owned and operated Dan Enis Dry Wall Company, in New Hampshire, for over thirty years.
Dan was an active communicant of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, where he has served as an usher and was active on the social committee.
Dan was predeceased by his daughter Patricia Ann, who died in October of 1994.
Dan is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Carol E. (Haley) Enis of Moultonborough, his children, Daniel "DJ" Enis of Wolfeboro, NH, Lillian "Cindy" Grundish of Riverview, FL, William A. Enis of N. Dorchester, NH, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four sisters, Patricia Walsh of Pelham, NH, Barbara Johnson of Arlington, MA, Joan McCarthy of Davenport, FL, Mabel Bennett of Chelmsford, MA, many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 300 NH Route #25, Meredith, on Saturday, April 29th, at 11am. The family will be receiving friends starting at 10am at the church. The MSGR. Gerald R. Belanger, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be held in the Hillsboro Cemetery, Brandon, FL., at a later date.
