Corey Goss, 54, of Holderness, NH and Florida, passed away on August 12, 2015, surrounded by his family after a brave battle with cancer.
"There once lived in a man with crystal clear blue eyes and a heart so pure that his sole goal in life was to never hurt those around him". This man's name was Corey Goss; He was born in Copiague, New York, on April 8, 1961 into a family full of love. Corey was the youngest of five children and was everything you hoped a son would be.
Corey loved sports and spent his youth running, hitting, jumping, leaping, and dribbling his way into adulthood. In college, he continued his athletic streak and participated in track at the collegiate level. He spent his summers on Squam Lake, in Holderness, NH, out skiing every person on the lake. If there was a wake, he would jump it. If there was a boat, he would ski behind it. If there was a trick, he would do it. His front flips off of a slalom ski are legendary and his humility made you wonder if your eyes were playing tricks on you.
Corey brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of thousands of children for 30 years as the conductor of the train at Disneyworld. He spent his final year in Holderness reminding us all of what a caring heart he had.
Corey leaves behind his parents, Russell and Patricia (Coup) Goss, who miss him very much and cherish every minute they were given with him. He also leaves behind two brothers, Terry and Scott; a sister, Sheree; several nieces and nephews, Heather, Ryan, Brittney, Sean, Chad, Kody, Jade, and Shay; several great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylon, Abigail, Kate, and Mallory; and his very special sister-in-law, Sandi.
Corey was predeceased by his brother Kevin, who passed away in 2013. Kevin welcomed him into Heaven with open arms, a huge hug, and a booming voice. Praise be to GOD almighty.
