MEREDITH --- Claire "Carrie" Robinson began her new journey on May 30. 2026. She was surrounded by numerous family and friends who adored her.

Carrie and her twin "Butch" were born on May 25, 1946, in Montpelier, Vermont.

She graduated from Spaulding High School and worked at Vermont Mutual Insurance. Later she moved to Boston, MA and was employed as an underwriter at H.T Bailey Insurance. She continued employment there for many years, becoming owner along with her husband, David.

Carrie and Dave lived in MA until buying property on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. They had many friends and family who visited and were lavishly entertained. Her husband David died in 2015.

Although they never had children, Carrie "mothered" many young adults who needed a temporary home.

She was beautiful, generous, kind, and in the end, she developed a wonderful sense of humor.

She leaves her brother, Kermit Thompson and partner "Jarbo", her sister Linda Thompson Usle and husband Ray. She leaves many nieces and nephews, her stepson Gregory Robinson and wife Debbie.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled at 11:30 am on June 16, 2026, at the Church Landing Meredith, NH.
