Chester Harold Morley

Chester Harold Morley, Jr., 88, of New Hampton, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness.
Born on April 20, 1924, in Lynn, MA, he was the son of Chester H. and Esther M. (Reardon) Morley, Sr. Chester was raised in Lynn attending local schools. After graduating high school, Chester joined the Army's 10th Mountain Division Ski Troopers and served with honor and courage during WWII.
Chester was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched.
Chester is predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Kerry, of Lynn; daughter, Shirley Ann Morley, of Westfield, MA; and step-son, Mark Nelson, of Turner's Falls, MA.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Laurette Elaine (Vatcher) Morley, of New Hampton, NH; daughters, Gail M. Roberts and husband, Wayne L., of Blandford, MA, Tina Shaida and husband Benjamin, of Greenfield, MA; sons, Chester H. Morley, III and wife Sandra, of New Hampton, NH, and David Morley and wife Deborah, of Westfield, MA; step-children, Judith Kearo, of Madison, NH, Wendy Miller and husband Craig, of San Jose, CA, Tammy Bresnahan and husband John, of Longmeadow, MA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
