Chester Wayne Frost
September 7, 1940 — April 30, 2023
Chester "Wayne" Frost, age 82, passed on April 30th, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Chester M. Frost and Lela (Parent) Frost of South Berwick, ME.
Wayne joined the US Marine Corps in 1959 and served 20 years, he was extremely proud to serve his country. He did two tours of duty in Vietnam and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1979 to be with his family. Wayne then went on to work at Mack Trucks for over 30 years.
Wayne enjoyed being outdoors, working on cars - especially Volkswagens, snowmobiling, dirt car racing and playing hockey.
He is survived by his wife Joan Frost of Bristol, NH along with his four children Michael Frost and his wife Tanya Zinck, Tricia Morton and her husband Jonathan, Kristine Thibault and her husband Randall, and Brian Frost and his wife Mandy. Wayne also had 5 grandchildren Kathryn, Hunter, Colin, Luca and Julia. Wayne is also survived by four stepchildren, Laurie and Lee Hughes, Tommy and Sandy Hughes, Joel and Nancy Hughes, Jimmy and Irene Hughes and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside burial with full military honors will be held at The NH State Veterans Cemetery at 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH, 03303 at 1:00 on May 11th, 2023.
