NEW HAMPTON-Charlotte "Nana" Bristow, (75), passed away at home on April 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Charlotte was born on September 9, 1940 in Concord, New Hampshire the daughter of George and Barbara (Ingerson) Bock.
Charlotte grew up on straights road in New Hampton, N.H. She went to Bristol High School and later worked as a waitress. She loved watching the Boston Red Sox during baseball season, loved her family being around them and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was affectionately known as "Nana" by everyone, not only to her children, but all the neighborhood children as well.
Charlotte loved traveling and going to the beach, where she enjoyed a nice fried clam dinner. During the year she enjoyed feeding the wild birds always making sure the feeders were always full. Charlotte was always up for a good card game, especially a game of "Bid Wist". She was especially looking forward to the arrival of her twelfth great grandchild, who is due in June.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, her husband Henry Bristow and a daughter in law; Sheila Bristow.
Survivors include her son; Jonathan Bristow of New Hampton, her daughter; Sharon and her fiancé Phil Alger of Rumney, New Hampshire, her loving grand-children; Calvin Hahn IV, of New Hampton, Christopher Hahn and fiancé Kassi Ortuno of Campton, N.H., Eric Hahn and his fiancé Tomi Styles of Ashland, N.H., Jessica Hahn of Rumney, N.H., Laurence Hoey and wife Adrienne of Gilford, N.H. Jonathan S. Bristow and his fiancé Heather Blacksmith of Gardner, KS, Paul J. Bristow and his wife Sara of Nashua, N.H. Krystle Welcome and her husband William of Franklin, N.H. Charlotte also leaves behind her Great-Grandchildren; Sydnee Hahn, Eric Hahn II, Hailey Hahn, Rylee Hahn, Brendan Terrio, Juliana Bristow, Kinleigh Bristow, Bella Bristow, Hunter Bristow, Timothy Welcome, Bruce Welcome and Logan Welcome.
