Charles L. Plante, 64, of Rumney, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Concord Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born on September 21, 1948 in Plymouth, NH, he was the son of Charles W. and Natalie A. (Plante) Robie. A life-long resident in the Plymouth area, he was raised locally.
Charlie was an avid motorcyclist, enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities, and he loved cooking. Charlie owned and operated his own breakfast and lunch restaurant and he also worked as a cook for several local area restaurants. He was a devoted member of the local Plymouth Lodge of Elks for 40 years.
Charlie is predeceased by his brother-in-law, Dan Lizotte.
He is survived by his beloved significant other of 18 years, Madeline "Maddie" Lehouillier, of Rumney; son, Jamie Plante, of RI; sister, Charlene Lizotte-Fijalkowski and husband Peter, of Laconia; granddaughter, Macayla Plante, of RI, and many loving friends and relatives in the area.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Macayla Plante's education fund via Community Guarantee Savings Bank in Plymouth.
