Carroll Ernest Kinne, 73, of Wentworth, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born in Plymouth, on January 20, 1941, he was the son of Robert and Emma (Monroe) Kinne. Carroll was raised in Groton, attending the Groton School House. Carroll learned the trade and skill of logging, and through his hard work he was the proprietor of the C & A Logging, Co., for more than 60 years.
Carroll enjoyed NASCAR Racing, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and papa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was a kindhearted friend to many throughout the greater Wentworth community. Carroll will be dearly missed by his family and the many people whose lives he's touched throughout the years.
He is predeceased by his son, Carroll E. Kinne, Jr.; daughter, Catherine Paquette; and his sister, Ruth Baron.
Carroll is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Anne C. (Smith) Kinne, of Wentworth; daughter, Robin Plant and husband Randy, of Wentworth; son-in-law, Barry Paquette, of Rumney; five grandchildren, Crystal Kenneally and husband Doug, of Rumney, Jessica Carter and husband Mike, of Orford, Danielle, Vanessa, and Nathan (Plant), all of Wentworth; seven great-grandchildren, Colin, Cillian, and Declan (Kenneally), all of Rumney, Zackery, Zoey, Jacob, and Abagail (Carter), all of Orford; his brother, Richard Kinne and wife Joyce, of Rumney.
