Carol Ann (Janis) Wyman, 46, passed away Saturday August 19, 2017 at her home in Moultonborough, N.H.
Carol was born in Cambridge, MA to Robert R. Janis and Elizabeth A. Cremens on March 5, 1971. She attended the Paul School in Wakefield and graduated from Spaulding High School in Rochester, NH in 1989. Carol fulfilled her lifelong dream of working with children as a childcare professional and pre-school teacher beginning at the Wolfeboro Area Children's Center and most recently at Imaginations in Moultonborough, NH.
In 1993, she married Douglas F. Wyman, Jr. of Concord, NH with whom she had two sons, Douglas III and Shane Wyman.
She was the founder of the Special Needs Alliance Committee at Moultonborough schools, and was the coordinator of the Sandwich Toy Drive, providing the less fortunate children with toys at Christmas. Carol was a kind soul who was filled with compassion and wore her heart on her sleeve. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her immediate family she leaves her brother Joe Janis, mother and father-in-law Douglas Sr. and Joyce Wyman, brother and sister-in-law Kent and Laura Wyman and Christopher and Jess Wyman, nephew Joey Janis and nieces Brooke and Allison Wyman. She was pre-deceased by her father Robert R. Janis in 2005.
Friends and relatives are invited to call Monday August 28 from 5-8pm at the Mayhew Funeral Home, 204 Daniel Webster Highway, Meredith, NH.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday August 29 at 11am at the First Christian Church, 83 North Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH.
A private burial for the family will be held at a later date.
