ASHLAND---CAROL STEWART passed away on March 19, 2018 at Concord Hospital.
Carol was born on August 19 in Framingham, MA the daughter of Russell and Dorothy (Frost) Deane.
Carol was raised in Cochituate, MA and spent her summers in Mattapoisett, MA. She went to school in Wayland, MA graduating from high school in 1953. She was a 1957 graduate of Framingham State Teachers College. After college she spent 39 years teaching at Loker School in Cochituate, MA.
She was a worthy advisor in the order of the Rainbow Girls, enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots during the sports seasons as well as being at the ocean, camping at South Arm Camp Ground in ME, boating, crafting and painting but most of all she loved being with her family and friends. She was very dedicated to teaching children and remained friends with many of her former students.
She is survived by her daughters; Jill Whitney Holmes, Martha Whitney Clifford, Son-in-law; Michael Clifford, Grandchildren; Alicia Clifford, Sgt. Zachary Clifford-USMC, lifelong friend; Nancy Tassinari Brenner and her little dog Molly as well as many nieces and nephews.
Carol is predeceased by her parents, her first husband; Bradford Whitney, her second husband; H. Donald Stewart, sister; Dorothy Deane and son in law; Wayne Holmes.
