CONCORD, NH: C. Arthur Rosenberger, Jr. 87, died peacefully October 7, 2014 after an illness, his wife of 64 years, Jeanette, by his side.
Born in Sellersville, PA, Art grew up in Tottenville, Staten Island, NY. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and graduated from Cornell University in 1949 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Art worked for Link Belt Div., FMC Technologies in PA for 30 years before retiring to NH. He was a member of Lions Club International and the Freemasons, and First Congregational Church, U.C.C. of Meredith, NH, and was active in community life at Havenwood and Heritage Heights in Concord, where he and Jean lived for over 15 years. Art enjoyed singing with his church choir, the HHH Singers, especially their Barbershop Ensemble, and was a past member of the Pemigewasset Choral Society. He loved trains since childhood, and enjoyed international travel and relaxing at the lake with Jean during retirement.
Survivors include his wife Jeanette Gordon Rosenberger; sisters Joyce Slaight of VA, and Dorothy Jensen and husband Howard of PA; daughters Susan J. Andersen and husband Ronald of NH, Aileen Hobaugh and husband William of PA, and Barbara Lammert of MA; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Art's life will be held at 2 PM Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at Havenwood Auditorium, 33 Christian Ave., Concord, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Havenwood General Fund at the above address.
