MEREDITH--- Bruce W. Peterson, (69) of Meredith, passed away on Friday July 3, 2015 at the Hospice House in Concord, New Hampshire.
 
 Bruce was born on April 13, 1946 in Quincy, Massachusetts. The son of, Walter and Florence (Cummings) Peterson.
 
 
 Bruce grew up in Rockland Massachusetts attending Rockland High School. After Graduation in 1965, Bruce went to work as a self employed carpenter, later moved to Duxbury, Massachusetts in 1972. Shortly after moving to Duxbury he joined the local Union Chapter 624, working on various construction projects throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Bruce continued as a carpenter until he retired in 2000. He was known to be a man that could do about anything.
 
 
 He and his family moved to Meredith, New Hampshire after he retired. Once he settled here, he became a buyer and seller of snowmobiles or just about anything with a motor. He had a special love for Lake Winnipesaukee, always keeping a boat in the water ready to partake on cruise on the lake. He loved his town of Meredith and this state. Although Bruce had the "toys" he would be found sharing them with others, teaching the local children or anyone that wanted to learn or shared his interest or passions. He enjoyed teaching new skills and opening up the minds of children with new adventures.
 
 
 Bruce is survived by his son; Eric Peterson of Meredith, A sister; Brenda Nudd and her husband Loring of Duxbury, Massachusetts, A brother; William Peterson and his wife Clare of Belmont, New Hampshire, one grandchild Ethan Walter Peterson of Meredith, Other family members are; Josh Crowell of Ashland, New Hampshire, David Peterson of Belmont, New Hampshire, Dale Smith of Harwich, Massachusetts. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
