Betty Joyce Duclos

July 3, 1942 — January 16, 2022

With great sadness we share that Betty Joyce (Veasey) Duclos 79 of Holderness NH passed away on January 16th, 2022, peacefully with her family by her side.

Betty was born July 3, 1942, to Evan and Helen (Fogg) LaMott. She was raised in New Hampton NH along with her brother and two sisters.

Betty started her career with Easter Seals as a caregiver for children with disabilities. She then went on to work for Plymouth Regional High School as a paraprofessional where she retired after many years of employment.

Betty resided in Holderness where she raised her three children and was an active member of Holderness Community Church she was a deaconess and a willing worker for the church rummage sale.

Some of Bettys greatest passions were junking, collecting, yardsaling and decorating her home. She loved being outdoors where she enjoyed gardening, watching birds and spending time on Squam lake and summer trips to York Beach for family vacations.

Above all else she loved being a mother and grandmother. Spending time with her family was truly her greatest passion whether it was holidays, family get-togethers or attending her grandchildren's activities. It was everything to her.

Everyone who was lucky enough to have known Betty will best remember her great sense of humor, that her home was open to everyone and her hospitality made them feel welcome. She was the most loving, humble, compassionate, understanding, family-orientated woman. She was
one of the most beautiful souls anyone could ever meet.
