Barbara Ann Demers, 78, of Campton, passed away unexpectedly at her home after a lengthy illness on March 24, 2014.
Born in Methuen, MA on January 24, 1936, she was the daughter of George W. and Emily A. (Bully) Minot. Barbara was raised in Lawrence, MA, graduating from Lawrence High School.
In 1986, upon her daughter graduating high school, she moved with her family to Campton, NH, from Methuen. In her life she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished time spent with family.
She is predeceased by her husband Richard J. Demers, Sr., in 1991, and her son, George Demers, in 1998.
Barbara is survived by her four children, Christine A. Havlock, of Campton, Richard J. Demers, Jr., of Methuen, Robert M. Demers, of Methuen, and Kenneth Demers, also of Methuen, and four wonderful grandchildren, Stephanie, Benjamin, Sarah, and Zachary, all of Campton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
