Anthony Scott Reed, 52, of Lewis Piper Road, died March 1, 2014, at Catholic Medical Center, in Manchester.
Born in Plymouth, NH on February 22, 1962, Anthony was the son of Custer Leland Sr. and Shirley Caroline (Green) Reed.
Anthony grew up in Rumney and attended Rumney and Plymouth schools. He resided in Ashland and in Rumney for many years. He has been a resident of Holderness for the past several years.
Anthony worked at Freudenberg NOK and for Lucas Tree Service. He also worked as a grade laborer for the State of NH Department of Transportation for six years.
Anthony was a past member of the Ashland Fire Department and the Rumney Fire Department and also was a certified Emergency Medical Technician.
Anthony is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Sharon B. (Hawkins) Reed of Holderness, stepsons, Troy A. Eastman of Prattville, AL, Randy S. Eastman of Holderness, four step grandchildren, brothers, Custer L. Reed Jr, of Rumney, Brian D. Reed of Laconia, many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St, Plymouth, on Thursday 6pm to 7:30pm. A funeral service will follow at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Spring burial will be held in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Rumney.
