Anthony A. Baziliauskas

Anthony A. Baziliauskas, 70, of Rumney, NH, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 5, 2009.Born on June 13, 1938 in Kybartai, Lithuania, he was the son of Antanas and Anastazija (Kiveris) Baziliauskas. In 1949 he emigrated to the U.S. with his family and lived in Worcester, MA.Anthony joined the U.S. Army in 1959 and served his country with pride until 1962. He was a truly patriotic American and was always proud of his adopted country.Anthony was an avid fisherman and a great sports enthusiast. He worked for the Wyman-Gordon Co. in Massachusetts for many years.He is predeceased by his brother, Alfonsas Baziliauskas, formerly of Lithuania; and a nephew, Algirdas Baziliauskas, also of Lithuania.Anthony is survived by his two sisters, Silvija Aleksiunas, of Chicago, IL, and Renata Baziliauskas, of Swampscott, MA; a brother, Valentine Baziliauskas, of Rumney, NH;  and numerous cousins and their families around the world. Memorials:  Donations may be made in Anthony's name to a charity of one's choice.  Service:Services will be private
