CAMPTON - Anita R. (Dupre) Bisson, 94, US Route #3, died Monday, May 24, 2014, at Golden View Health Care Center, in Meredith, after a period of declining health.
Anita was born in Danvers, MA, on January 16, 1920, the daughter of Marie Louise (St. Pierre) and Frank Dupre., one of twelve children, all deceased. She moved to Exeter, NH, as a child and was a 1938 graduate of Robinson Female Seminary where she excelled in varsity sports.
Her first husband, Raymond Tuttle, was killed in 1944, at the Battle of Metz, in France. As a young widow and mother of an infant, she worked to provide a normal life and independent home for her daughter. In 1951, she married Bill Bisson, who died in 1999, a widower with a young son, and together they built a family, welcoming a second son, in 1954. Anita and Bill moved to Campton in 1995.
Anita was a talented seamstress, an avid Red Sox fan, and someone who truly knew the value of family. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow almost as much as nurturing her own children.

She is survived by her sons, Ed Bisson and his wife, Karyl, of Conway, and Adrien Bisson and his wife, Amy, of Lowell, MA, and her daughter, Carolyn Hill and her husband, Alan, of Campton; five grandchildren, Dana Hill and his wife, Brityn, of Nottingham, Alicia Hill Dunstan and her husband Christopher, of Campton, Emily Bisson, of New Haven, David Bisson, and his wife, Jocelyn, of Baltimore, and Matthew Bisson and his wife, Beth, of Jamaica Plains; four great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Calvin Dunstan, and Finn and Anastasia Hill; four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
