Alan D. Bennett, 66, of Campton, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 20, 2013, after a lengthy illness.
Born on October 15, 1946, in Plymouth, NH, he was the son of Fred and Alma (Schofield) Bennett. Alan attended the Broad Brook School, in Broad Brook, CT, and graduated from the Plymouth Regional High School, Class of '64. Alan enlisted with the United States Army and served from 1965 to 1967 primarily as a Radio Operator.
He was a trade plumber for over forty years; he most recently was employed with the Currier Plumbing and Heating, Co.
Alan is predeceased by his ex-wife, Mary (Currier) Bennett, his parents, and his siblings, Larry, Fred, and Brian Bennett.
He is survived by his three children, Corina Carrillo and husband José, of Prattville, AL, Angela Brogan and husband Nate, of Redondo Beach, CA, and Kristopher Bennett and fiancée Katrina Brewer, of Rindge, NH; sister, Bonnie Beaugrand, of Littleton, NH;, and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alan's memory to the NH Humane Society, 1305 Meredith Center Rd., Laconia, NH 03246.
