Agnes "Aggie" Robertson of Thornton, NH passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 19, 2021 at the age of 97.
Aggie was born on September 14, 1923 in Laconia to Frank & Christiannia (Bisson) Kuchinsky. She was a graduate of Laconia High School. After high school, she moved to Campton and while raising her children, she ran a small bakery from her home. She worked at White Mountain Industries as a seamstress and floor supervisor for many years.
In 1977 she and her husband Neil started Robertson Transit, which served local schools, including SAU 48 and 68, Ashland, and local camps. Always dedicated and a hard worker, she managed the business for nearly 40 years before she retired at the age of 92.
Aggie enjoyed spending time with her beloved pets, reading, knitting, sewing, and baking. She loved puzzles and always had a table set up to work on them in her home. She enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings for her family, and her children and grandchildren fondly remember her delicious baked treats and hand-knit sweaters that she made for them over the years. She was especially happy spending time with her loving daughters Ginny and Deb over the last few years of her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Perkins of Lincoln, NH, and Deborah Cunha and her husband Bob, of Concord, NH; her step-daughter Wendy Gilman of Concord, NH; her sister Elaine Anderson of Campton, NH; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years, Neil Robertson; her parents; her sons Donald & Robert "Butch" Burhoe of Campton, NH; her step-daughter Kim Ash; and her grandchildren Dennis, Christa, and Brent.
Aggie and her family were very appreciative of the care she received from Pemi-Baker Community Health and would like to extend special thanks to Laurie Burke for her compassionate care and support.
A graveside service is planned for May 8, 2021 at 11:00am at the Mad River Cemetery in Thornton, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Pemi-Baker Community Health, and the New Hampshire Humane Society of Laconia.
