MEREDITH-- Mary C. Yaeger, (62) passed away suddenly at home on December 11, 2017.
She was born on December 26, 1954 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Richard and Anne (O'Boyle) Hickey.
She grew up in Newton, Lower Falls, MA. Later moving to Meredith, NH graduating from Interlakes High School. After high school she enlisted into the United States Army proudly serving for 2 years. After the Army she attended Smith College in Amherst, MA while in the North Hampton, MA area, later moving to Andover, MA and returning to Meredith, NH in 1979.
She took great care of her mom, working at various jobs, until she started working at Middleton Lumber for many years. She loved working there and spending time with her friends and family.
She loved skiing, taking trips and traveling especially to England, seeing new places, going antique shopping, reading about history and just being an avid reader, enjoying the great outdoors and kayaking with her friends. She was a member of the Lions Club in Meredith.
She is survived by her son; John and his wife Cari of Wichita, KS, two brothers; Edward M. Hickey and his wife Jodi of North Conway, NH, Fred Hickey and his wife Terry of Schenectady, NY, her sisters; Irene Roy and her husband George of Jensen Beach, FL, Joan Soule and her husband John of Weymouth, MA. She was predeceased by her father and her brother Richard as well as her sisters; Francis, Edna and Patricia.
