Judith “Judy” Weare Kayser, 72, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2019. Born on December 9, 1946 in Rochester, NH, to Donald E. Weare and Reta (Welch) Weare of Tamworth, NH. A lifelong resident of New Hampshire,

Judy spent most of her time in and around Tamworth, where she was well known and loved. She attended Quimby High School in Sandwich, NH and had a long career serving and caring for others in the community. Whether you knew her from her time as the Assistant District Sales Manager of Northern NH for Avon, The Pioneer or Katy’s Restaurants in Tamworth or Maurice’s/Gilligan’s Restaurant in Moultonborough you were sure to receive a warm greeting and cheerful conversation from her. In her retirement years Judy enjoyed assisting anyone with a need, be that a ride to appointments, or with help around the house. She looked forward to her weekly visits with each and every one of them throughout the years and always had so many stories to share with her family about her time helping others. For the last 28 years her greatest joy was being “Mimi” to her eight grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents and a sister Margaret Weare Merrithew; she is survived by sons Andy Anthony of Moultonborough, NH; Tim Anthony and his wife Lisa of Black Forest, CO; Jason Anthony of South Paris, ME; and daughter Megan (Kayser) King and her husband Matthew of Townsend, MA; brother Tom Weare of Tamworth, NH; sister Susan Hayford of Freedom, NH; brother Michael Weare of Tamworth, NH; grandchildren Jake Anthony, Garrett Anthony, Lindsey Anthony, Isabella King, Ethan King, Madeleine King, Logan Anthony, and Madison Anthony; and her dear friend Brent Knox of Moultonborough, NH, with whom she lived with and shared the last decade of her life, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A reception to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at The Farmstand, 1118 Page Hill Road, Chocorua, NH on October 20, 2019, from 1pm-3pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Judy’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital using reference ID 11748761 and mailing to PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148.

So sorry to hear of Judy's passing...I knew her through my brother in-law and his family. We visited when her 3 oldest were boys. My father in-law owned and ran White Lake Oasis in Tamworth. We kept in touch by mail for quite some time...and then she apparently became busy with life. My deepest sympathy to her children and others that knew and treasured her. I loved Judy, may she rest in peace.

Was so sad to hear of Judy's passing. Will miss seeing her around town and her warm smile and conversation. Our friendship goes back a long time ago to when she lived on Depot Road. Our family lived next door. Us girls used to visit back and forth as neighbors used to back then.A cup of tea and cookie and some "gossiping" would make the days go faster! In later years as the kids grew up our kids attended school together. My condolences to all the family.

Thank you for your kind words, Rosemary. This is her daughter, Megan. I’m not sure as we know one another but I would love to see you on 10/20 at the celebration of her life if you are still in the area. Again, thank you for remembering her. Xo
