Virginia A. Racine

Virginia A. "Ginger" Racine, 49, of Rumney, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness.Born in Claremont, NH on November 19, 1961, she was the daughter of Harold and Alice (Lord) Bailey.Ginger was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends in the area. She was an employee at the Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth for many years.She is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Eric D. Racine, of Rumney; two children, Harry Racine and wife Sarah, of Rumney, and Brandy Baron and husband Jack, of Groton; five grandchildren, Alex, Hannah, Courtney, Joslin, Kristin; four brothers, Harold, Bobby, Peter, and Larry; two sisters, Tina Beebe, and Cathy Hewey; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ginger's memory to the American Cancer Society.Visitation:Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A reception will be held following the calling hours at Cormea's Auction Hall, in West Rumney.
