Richard Kinne, 78, passed away Friday, October 27th, 2023, at his home in Rumney.
Richard was born August 25th, 1945, son of the late Robert and Emma (Monroe) Kinne
Richard had a special place in his heart for family. As a kid he did odd jobs to help support the family. While helping his own family he worked several jobs logging often working for his brother Carrol. As a teenager Richard went on to work in the Palermo mine in North Groton with a friend. Richard then went on to work at the Keniston Sawmill for 20 years. Richard then married Joyce (Ryea) Kinne and at that time went on to work for Cersosimo Lumber until his retirement. Richard loved the outdoors. He had a passion for fishing and would fish year-round, also making two fishing trips to Alaska. He also enjoyed raising his farm animals and spending time with his chocolate labs.
Richard is survived by his wife, Joyce, son David and his wife Sandy, grandchildren Christopher and Jordan, great-granddaughter Avery, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Richard was predeceased by his grandparents Maude and Burr Monroe, brother Caroll Kinne, sister Ruth Barron, nephews Carrol Jr. and Robert, and niece Cathy.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm at the Mayhew Funeral Home in Plymouth, 12 Langdon Street, Plymouth, NH.
Burial will be private.
