Mary Jane Wilkerson

Mary Jane (Olson) Wilkerson, age 86, died Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at her home in Meredith. She had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late June and began hospice care at the end of July. Originally from Iowa, she had lived in Meredith since 1969 with her husband, the late Raleigh Wilkerson.
She is survived by her daughter Amalia Carty and son-in-law Jeffrey Carty of Lancaster, NH; sister Colleen Romsey of Forsyth, IL; sister Barbara Olson of New York, NY; sister-in-law Pat Olson of Webster City, IA; sister-in-law Lois Arvola of Arden, NC; granddaughter Sarah Carty of Haverhill, MA, granddaughter Jillian Carty of Oak Ridge, TN, granddaughter Zoe Carty of Meredith, NH; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned. Cremation will be handled by Mayhew Funeral Homes in Meredith, NH.
