Luc G. Bisson

July 6, 2004 — March 17, 2022

Luc Gabert Bisson, 17, passed away at home on March 17, 2022, surrounded by his family after a year of treatment for brain cancer during which time he showed unshakable courage.

Luc was born on July 6, 2004 in Duluth, Minnesota and resided in Plymouth all his life

Luc had an adventurous spirit and a deep passion for life. He accomplished so much in such a short time. From a young age, he fully immersed himself into everything he could get his hands on. He was an inventor, builder, and incredibly creative engineer. Luc thrived in the outdoors, whether he was hiking and camping with his family, mountain biking, fishing, working with a chainsaw in the woods or just playing in the mud. Luc was always in constant motion. Luc participated in cross country, track, and nordic skiing, but later his interests moved to wrestling and football. Ultimately, he discovered his true passion working out in the high school weight room.

Luc was always excited about school. He would wake up at 4:15 in the morning and wait for the weight room to open up at 5:00 am. He worked hard and was not afraid to tackle new challenges. Plymouth Regional High School was his second home. Teachers, staff, and students were all part of his extended family. Luc was also a member of the National Honors Society and the National Technical Honors Society.

Luc was a truly compassionate soul. He enjoyed playing with younger kids in the neighborhood and taking them under his wing. He also had a deep love for his two dogs, Ajax and Sadie.

Luc was the loving son of Christian Bisson and Julie Gabert Bisson and brother to Lia Bisson. He leaves behind his Grandparents, Martin and Joanne Gabert, Odette Bisson, the late Jean-Marc Bisson, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins living in the United States and Canada.

Luc embodied the Inuit word, "Nuannaarpoq", which means "taking extravagant pleasure in being alive." He will continue to be an inspiration to others along their journey.

Everyone is welcome to a Celebration of Luc's Life on Sunday, March 27th at 2:00 pm at Plymouth Regional High School. Dress casually so you can walk outside afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, any donations in remembrance of Luc can be made to Plymouth Parks and Recreation, 43 Old Ward Bridge Road, Plymouth, NH 03264. Monies will be spent on Fox Park in Plymouth, a place Luc and his family love dearly.
